Role : Data Migration Expert
Experience : 9 Years total IT experience with at least 7 year migration experience.
Education : BSc. Computer Science / Information Systems
Required Skills:
• Telecom billing industry knowledge
• Experienced role as a DM Architect with mandatory knowledge about
- Understanding of CBCM billing system functionality
- CBCM customer and billing data model – Extensive knowledge required
- Data Level business rules from CBCM – Extensive
- Understanding of CBCM Products and Service – Extensive knowledge
• BSCS Product Catalogue knowledge
• BSCS iX data model knowledge
• UNIX shell scripting
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripting
• Performance tuning of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts and procedures
• DMF & DMT tool knowledge
• Preparing Low Level Mapping and Functional Use Case Documents
• Develop and Manage migration frameworks to ensure automated process
• Ensure good quality of data migrated
• Design and develop transformation rules and validations.
Job Responsiblities :
• Successfully executed multiple end-to-end data migration projects using any ETL tool, at least 5 DM projects
• Exposure to data migration best practices.
• Data extraction, consolidation, transformations, reconciliation, cleansing and loading from source into the target systems.
• Done data mapping / low-level mapping between multiple systems from a data migration perspective.
• Done functional use-cases / functional specification from a data migration perspective.
• Done extensive design and coding for Oracle PL/SQL, Stored Proc & Packages.
• Done extensive Unix shell scripting and Oracle PL / SQL scripting.
• Worked in projects which includes data migration with BSCS.
• Expertise and experience in Performance Tuning of Oracle database, stored procedures and queries.
• Project documentation
• Must have Good communication and client facing skills.
