DDN Certified Storage Engineer in Dubai

One of our Clients requires DDN Certified Storage Engineer.
Education:
Degree / High School.
DDN Certification Mandatory.

Experience:
2-3 Years of Experience as DDN Certified Storage Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains DDN enterprise level storage
• Provide daily Storage support, technical assistance and troubleshooting support to other teams. This may include troubleshooting software, hardware, performance, or allocation issues.
• Escalate hardware and software issues to maintenance provider(s) as necessary. Drive and monitor issues through to resolution in an efficient and timely manner.
• Ensure all maintenance and change activities are properly tracked and approved per Change Management procedures
• Monitor hardware and software notifications and releases and make recommendations concerning upgrades and improvements
• Provide operational and on-call rotation support in a 24x7 environment and ensure highest level of customer support through proactive problem ownership and management, and adherence to change management standards.
• Maintain and recommend improvements to Storage configuration and procedural documentation.
• Maintain and recommend improvements to Storage disaster recovery and BCP documentation.
• Compile daily report documenting the health of the environment, including status of replication, availability of performance data, listing of hardware issues, etc.
• Pro-actively monitor array and SAN performance and suggest optimizations to improve throughput and ensure load is balanced evenly across available components.  
• Provide input into storage design and future storage architectures
