Technical Manager in Dubai
One of our Clients requires Technical Manager.
Education:
Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
Should have 2-3 Years of Experience as a Technical Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Solution Development and Delivery
· Provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for all assigned projects from definition phase through implementation and support
· Conducts internal analysis of the work breakdown structure of all interdepartmental activities within Software Manufacturing Department
· Recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions
· Assess the technical impact of risks, issues and changes to scope, requirements or design. Advise on mitigation or remedial action to keep projects on track
· Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks on all assigned projects
· Provides end to end pre and post live support and enhancement of system
· Liaises between development team and project management team of development effort and status
· Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients
Team Management and Resourcing
· Defines an effective unit structure to ensure optimal utilization of human resources and clarity in line of command for all levels including future pipeline of work against resource pool
· Leads these effectively – setting individual objectives, recruiting qualified staff, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, providing formal and informal feedback / appraisal in order to maximise subordinate and functional performance
· Mentors development team and provides 'hands-on' technical leadership as required
· Ensures all employees within the team obtain the necessary level of training
· Determines manpower budgets and recommends appropriate levels of sourcing, ensuring adequate provision has been made for the effective execution and completion of all activities
Must have solid progressive experience managing teams
Extensive hands-on experience in agile methodology
Experience in managing software to scale
